Our League is broken up into 4 divisions
Clinic(1st, PK & KG)
The clinic focuses on teaching kids the basic fundamentals of baseball for them to be able to advance and be ready to play. Fundamentals include hitting (some coach pitching, some tea work) throwing & catching. (Important reminder to parents, children develop at their own pace BUT practice with them and I promise, you will see greater improvement. DONT FORGET TO MAKE IT FUN !!! AND ALWAYS TOSS TO THEIR SIDE WHEN TEACHING THEM TO CATCH. A toss that hits them in the face has the potential to set them back.
Minors (2rd & 3th graders)
Minor Division games are played Monday - Friday at 6pm with 4pm games only if absolutely needed!!! weekend games.
Majors (4th & 5th Graders)
Majors Division games are played Monday - Friday at 6pm with 4pm games only if absolutely needed!!! weekend games
In the Majors Division all pitchers throw from 46ft mound. Stealing is allowed only after the pitched ball passes home plate. (NO LEADING)
A complete listing of league rules are available in the Downloadable Forms & Files tab located in the Menu. Officials have final say during game. Only the coaches have the right to discuss calls with officials.
50/70 6th & 7th Graders
This is the fourth year that St. Teresa's is offering 50/70 play for the 6th & 7th graders (11-12yo). With the longer distance of the bases and the pitiching mound the game takes on a whole new dynamic with base leading and stealing. The 50/70 play creates a good buffer zone between little league bases at 46/60. Better perparing young baseball player for 60/90 play for 8th grade varisty and eventually high school.
